Capacity Building Update
Deep Learning Lab – Thought Leaders Flyer
Attached is first Deep Learning Lab brochure and you can anticipate a second more detailed one to come within a few weeks. The registration site is currently open and we will send this save the date flyer to all NPDL members as well.
On the cluster leads call, we discussed the pre- and post-conference opportunities during the Global Deep Learning Lab. These were outlined in the previous email to you and you can find more information in the call slides and recording. Please feel free to send us any questions you might have. We will continue to share details as the event coordination continues.
FACILITATOR’S INSTITUTE: AUGUST 6-8th 2019 in Chicago, USA
Please note that Facilitators’ Institute will be held in Chicago on August 6-8, 2019. A flyer is coming soon. Spaces are limited. Early Bird rate in effect until June 15th. This capacity building opportunity is only available to NPDL members working directly with districts and schools.
Cluster Highlight
The Uruguay Cluster recently had a huge deep learning celebration event with over 5,000 educators and leaders coming together around deep learning for students.

New Measures Update
Global Moderation – April / May 2019
The current round of moderation is underway. Moderation results will be shared on the next Cluster Call in June and the teacher feedback letters will be drafted and sent to the cluster leads.
Selected exemplars will be shared on the Deep Learning Hub once teachers have received their feedback letters.
